The Droid Drome masqueraded as a cinema-like venue of sorts many years ago in a small room in Sanderstead.

Its unique features included a limited edition green and white projection system and realistic atmospheric effects, especially for films such as The Thing, which featured many Arctic scenes.

To this extent, the Droid Drome was cool in the temperature sense, whilst being completely uncool in all other senses.
